What is involved in setting up the PrepWizard label system?
Anyone in your store can implement the PrepWizard system with ease. Most importantly, we have pre-loaded the company’s products and shelf life data into the system, so your team does not have to learn and waste time with any set-up procedures.
Step One: Download the App from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Step Two: Turn on your device’s bluetooth and the printer will automatically pair with the app.
Step Three: Open the PrepWizard App. Make sure to ALLOW location permission request.
Step Four: Select items and quantities of labels and press “print”. Simple!
Does each store need to purchase an iPad or other tablet to use this product?
No! We have designed the PrepWizard system to use any iPhone or Android phone, so you can let your store managers or other employees download the free app on their own devices. However, if your store already has a tablet, PrepWizard will work just fine with that device.
PrepWizard app supports Apple devices for IOS 10 and greater. These older devices will NOT be supported – iPhone 4s, iPad 2, iPad (3rd generation), iPad Mini (1st generation)
PrepWizard app supports Android devices for 8.1.0 and greater.
PrepWizard app supports Chromebooks.

What if our company adds new products or items?
Can PrepWizard generate multiple “use by” labels depending on the life cycle of the product?
Yes, we have designed the app to handle three separate “use by” dates.
TRUCK – Labels for UNOPENED products received from the truck delivery.
PREP – Prepped items that are stored BEFORE being put into production.
PROD – Labels for products AFTER they are put into production and use.
